Theodore Cardinal McCarrick
Theodore Edgar McCarrick (b. July 7, 1930) is the current Cardinal Archbishop of Washington, DC.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, New York, United States, in 1954, and a Master's degree in history from the same institution in 1958. After being ordained to the priesthood by Francis Cardinal Spellman on May 31, 1958 in New York City, McCarrick went on to earn a second Master's degree in social sciences and a doctorate in sociology, both at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
