Thomas Francis, Prince of Carignano

Thomas Francis (1596-1656) was the founder of the Savoy-Carignano line of the House of Savoy.

He was son of Charles Emmanuel I of Savoy and Catherina Michaella , daughter of Philip II of Spain and Elizabeth of Valois. Elizabeth was daughter to Henry II of France and Catherine de' Medici.

Thomas married Marie of Bourbon-Soissons. They had 2 sons (Italian names in parentheses):
