Thomas Häßler

Thomas Häßler (born May 30, 1966 in West Berlin) is a former German football (soccer) midfielder. With the German national team, Hässler won the 1990 World Cup and Euro 96.
On the club level, Häßler played for FC Cologne (1984-90), Juventus (1990-91), AS Roma (1991-94), Karlsruhe (1994-98), Borussia Dortmund (1998-99), 1860 Munich (1999-2003), and SV Salzburg (2003-04). For Germany, Häßler was capped 101 times, scoring 11 goals. Other than the two major tournament wins, he also played for his country at the 1994 and 1998 World Cups, Euro 92, and Euro 2000.
