Thomas Smith (? -1846)
Thomas Smith (? - 1846) was a politician from Pennsylvania.
He was born in Pennsylvania on an unknown date, and resided in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1806 and 1807, and later as a Federalist Representative to the Fourteenth United States Congress (March 4, 1815-March 3, 1817).
Smith moved to Darby Township (later Darby Borough) in 1815. He was serving as a justice of the peace at the time of his death in Darby, on January 29, 1846. He was interred in St. James’s (Old Swedes) Cemetery in Paschall (now a part of Philadelphia).
