Tia and Tamera Mowry

Tia Dashon Mowry and Tamera Darvette Mowry (born July 6, 1978) are twin actresses, born in Gelhausen, West Germany [1] to a white father and an African American mother [2]. The sisters starred in the television series Sister, Sister, and have appeared in a number of subsequent films, including the Disney Channel telefilm Seventeen Again.

Early in their careers, they did McDonald's and Barbie commercials.

Tia and Tamera have also appeared many times in teen magazine articles, on posters, and on other shows.

The actor Tahj Mowry (born 1987) is their younger brother. He starred as T. J. on Smart Guy, which aired on The WB and is today rerun on the Disney Channel.
