Toei Asakusa Line

The Toei Asakusa Line (都営浅草線: Toei Asakusa-sen) is a subway line in Tokyo, Japan. On maps, its color is light coral, and its stations carry the letter A followed by a two-digit number. Operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, it operates between Nishi Magome Station (A-01) in Ota Ward and Oshiage Station (A-20) in Sumida Ward. It is also called "Line 1." Through-running to other lines occurs at Oshiage Station and Sengakuji Station.

Through trains

More through train lines run on the Asakusa Line than on any other subway line in Tokyo.

  • From Sengakuji Station :
    • Via Keikyu Main Line to Misaki-guchi Station
    • Via Keikyu Kuko Line to Haneda Kuko Station (Haneda Airport Station)
  • From Oshiage Station
    • Via Keisei Oshiage Line to Hokuso Tetsudo Hokuso Imba Nihon Idai Station
    • Via Keisei Main Line to Narita Kuko Station (Narita Airport Station)
    • Via Shibayama Railway Line to Shibayama Chiyoda Station

Train service

  • Airport Special Rapid Service: This special service connects Haneda Kuko Station and Narita Kuko Station.

Only an ordinary ticket is necessary. It passes through certain subway stations without stopping. Some trains run from Keisei Takasago Station to Haneda Kuko Station. The table below indicates the stations where the trains stop.

  • Airport Special Express: This service has been discontinued.
  • Other: Regular subway service stops at all subway stations on the line.
