Tom Wilson
Tom Wilson was a record producer in the Sixties. He first worked for Columbia Records, then went to Verve Records. He has produced records for Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, and The Velvet Underground. He signed the Mothers of Invention to Verve records in 1966, and was credited as producer on the groups seminal debut album 'Freak Out' although it is widely believed that Frank Zappa, the leader of the group, did most of the real production work.
Tom Wilson was also the name of the creator of the Ziggy comic strip.
