Toni Branca
Antonio Branca (born 15 September 1916 in Sion, Switzerland; dead 10 May 1985) was Formula One driver who raced for the Maserati team. According to the legend, his motor racing career was financed by an admiring Belgian countess. He made his Formula 1 debut in 1950 at the Swiss Grand Prix. That year he also raced a Formula 2 and led the non-championship race in Geneva. His only major finish was a fourth place. After many unsuccessful races, he disappeared from racing at the end of the 1951 season.
