Tran Van Huong
Tran Van Huong was born in 1902-(d.1982) in Vietnam.
Biography
He served as mayor of Saigon twice and served as Prime Minister in the Republic of Vietnam from November 1964-January 1965, and May-August 1969.
He also served as Vice-President of Republic of Vietnam under President Nguyen Van Thieu.
On April 21, 1975, President Nguyen Van Thieu resigned and handed over power to Vice-President Tran Van Huong. President Tran Van Huong prepared for peace talks with North Vietnam for a cease fire, but his meetings failed.
On April 28, 1975 after one week, Tran Van Huong handed over power of South Vietnam to General Duong Van Minh.
