Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle (1668)
The Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle of 1668 ended the War of Devolution between France and Spain. It was mediated by the Triple Alliance of England, the United Provinces and Sweden at the first Congress of Aix-la-Chapelle.
France gained Lille and other territories in the Spanish Netherlands from Spain, but returned the Franche-Comté.
