Trevor Morgan
Trevor Morgan is a fictional character played by Alex Ferns in the British soap EastEnders where he first appeared in December 2000. He became a regular cast member the following summer, after moving into Albert Square with his wife Little Mo.
He was voted "'Most Hated Soap villain'" by readers of What's On TV magazine, with 21% of the vote. In second place was Coronation Street's Richard Hillman, with 16%. [1]
Trevor quickly began attracting large audiences with his storylines involving wife-beating and rape. On New Years' Eve 2001, Little Mo finally lost control and battered Trevor over the head with an iron. He was believed to be dead, but when Little Mo and her family returned to dispose of Trevor's body, he had gone.
Trevor had managed to walk into an alleyway where he collapsed and was found by a passer-by. He reported Little Mo to the police and she was charged with attempted murder. Trevor gave evidence at Little Mo's trial and despite strong evidence which portrayed her as a victim of a violent husband, the jury found her guilty of attempted murder. Nevertheless, her conviction was quashed within weeks on appeal.
Trevor had an adulterous affair with a woman called Donna Andrews , and they had a son called Sean who was born in 2001.
Trevor later returned to the Square to spy on Little Mo, and on Halloween 2002 he snatched her from the office at E20. Trevor had turned up in disguise as a monster pretended to be 'Donald Andrews'. He later started a fire in the Slater family home with Little Mo and Sean inside. Little Mo and Sean were rescued by neighbour Tom Banks, who was killed together with Trevor when the flames spread to a can of oil.
