Tuggeranong Hill

Tuggeranong Hill is located in Tuggeranong, Canberra. While it is called a hill, it is by definition a mountain.

Lanyon Valley is almost completely surrounded by hills and mountains and consequently television transmissions from Black Mountain are effected. To overcome this, a repeater has been erected on top of Tuggeranong Hill. Another repeater is located on Mount Taylor in Woden Valley . There is a track to the repeater on top of Tuggeranong Hill for service vehicles, which doubles as a Fire Trail .

Tuggeranong Hill is a national park and a walk to the top of Tuggeranong Hill provides stunning views of the Lanyon Valley and of the rest of Canberra.
