Twiki

For the wiki website software see TWiki

Twiki is a character on the TV show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Twiki was a robot referred to in the series as an "ampuquad". Mel Blanc provided the voice for the character in most episodes, except for a brief stretch during the show's second season.

Twiki (Twee-kee) was well known for frequently blurting a low key "beta-beta-beta" for no reason, this was also how he spoke with other robots, perhaps the writers had him speak this "computer language" in this way to add to his charm as an inside joke for programmers (tweak the beta).

Also there exists a flavour of Wiki known as a TWiki (with upper case 'W'). Deutsche Bank for example uses TWikis to document projects.
