U.S. House election, 1956
The U.S. House election, 1956 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1956 which coincided with the re-election of President Dwight Eisenhower. Although Eisenhower was re-elected with a large majority, his Republican Party lost a net of two seats to the majority Democratic Party.
