UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine
The University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, is the largest veterinary school in the nation. The school, established in 1948, is the primary health resource for California's animal populations. The school is consistently ranked first among the 27 veterinary schools in the country. The current Dean of Veterinary Medicine is Bennie I. Osburn
The school consists of 6 different academic departments:

- Molecular Biosciences
- Medicine and Epidemiology
- Pathology, Microbiology & Immunology
- Population Health and Reproduction
- Surgical and Radiological Sciences
