The channel is available on Satellite (BSkyB) and Cable platforms. A partial service is available on digital terrestrial television through the Top Up TV pay-tv service.

This channel shows lifestyle programmes (mainly gardening and DIY shows) that are a combination of internally produced shows and repeats of shows from the BBC archive. Before the launch of UK Food, it also showed many cookery programmes, however these now all reside on the new channel.
