UNKLE
Originally consisting of James Lavelle and DJ Shadow, the group UNKLE began with an impressive 1998 debut album, Psyence Fiction , in which they collaborated with a variety of guest artists including Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Mike D (Beastie Boys), and Richard Ashcroft (The Verve).
In 2003, without DJ Shadow, UNKLE released Never, Never, Land which featured Ian Brown, Josh Homme, Robert Del Naja (Massive Attack), Mani (Primal Scream) and others. Since DJ Shadow left he was replaced by Richard File.
Lavelle has also released many mix albums and remixes under the name 'UNKLE'.
