USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-J)

The USS Enterprise NCC-1701-J is a starship in the fictional Star Trek universe. The ship was featured in the episode "Azati Prime" of Star Trek: Enterprise and was purportedly built in the 26th century. With a crew of Xindi and humans, among others, the Enterprise-J, along with a fleet of Federation ships, fought against and defeated the Sphere Builders at the Battle of Procyon Five. Daniels brought Jonathan Archer to this time (in the midst of the battle) for a few minutes from Archer's own place in the year 2154.

Following their defeat in the 26th century, the Sphere Builders traveled back in time to the 22nd century to convince the Xindi in that century that humans were a dangerous threat. This event set into motion the Xindi story arc on the Enterprise television series.

Due to the Enterprise and Xindi's combined efforts that brought the sphere network down in 2154, it seems unlikely that this timeline continues as was depicted. Whether the Enterprise-J exists in the 26th century after the human/Xindi victory apparently alters the flow of history remains to be seen.

Despite its tenuous place in Star Trek history, the Enterprise-J is nonetheless featured in the 2005 Ships of the Line calendar that features images of the various starships seen on Star Trek throughout the years.
