USS Wyoming
One ship of the United States Navy has been named USS Wyoming in honor of the valley in eastern Pennsylvania that runs along the Susquehanna River. Three others have been named in honor of state of Wyoming.
- The first Wyoming operated on the California coast during the American Civil War.
- The second Wyoming (BM-10), a Arkansas-class monitor , was later renamed Cheyenne.
- The third Wyoming (BB-32) was the lead ship of her class of battleship.
- The fourth Wyoming (SSBN-742) was a Ohio-class submarine.
