Universidad del Norte
Universidad del Norte[1] is the most important educational center in northern Colombia. It was founded in 1966 by a group of businessman led by Mr. Karl C Parrish in the city of Barranquilla. It started its academic operation on July 11, 1966, with 58 students and 10 teachers on core courses of Business Administration and Engineering.
Today, it is a vibrant academic center offering a wide range of national and international accredited career paths, including Industrial, Mechanical, Computer, Civil and Electrical Engineering, as well as Medicine, Business Administration, Law school, Psychology, and several other faculties.
It has become one of the most important cultural and technological centers in the Atlantic coast of Colombia, and a top recognized school in the country.
