Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Technical University of Catalonia) is located in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
Formerly called Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona , this is one of the biggest technical universities in Catalonia. It was created in 1968, as the 'Institut Politècnic Superior'.
It has 22 schools in Barcelona, Castelldefels, Manresa , Sant Cugat del Vallès, Terrassa and Vilanova i la Geltrú, and about 35,000 students and 2,500 teachers and researchers.
