University of Oradea
The University of Oradea (Universitatea din Oradea in Romanian) is a major university located in Oradea, Romania. It was ranked first in an index of dynamic university development in Romania and is therefore renowned as one of the best universities in the country, due to its innovation and modernity.
With its four colleges and 18 faculties, it has a total of 123 fields of study for undergraduates and 151 post-graduate specialisation degrees. The university employs 2003 people, of which 1237 are teaching staff. It has 35,000 students (including part-time students and those engaging in distance learning).

International Relations
The University of Oradea maintains a strong link with many other worldwide universities, having collaborations with 214 universities, institutes and companies in 31 countries. It is also integrated in the European Union's Socrates and Erasmus programs and is one of the Romanian universities with the highest number of international students.
Facilities
The University of Oradea is one of the most modern in Romania and continues to expand. There are three lecture halls, each with 640 seats, and 22 amphitheatres with 1940 seats in total, as well as 60 lecture and seminar rooms. Additionally, the university has a 200-seat canteen, two hostels for boarding students. A new library is in construction which, when completed, will be one of the largest in Romania. The university also has a facility at Stâna de Vale, in the Apuseni mountains of Bihor county, which is made up of accommodation as well as education and recreation facilities.
