University of Sudbury
The University of Sudbury is a Catholic bilingual university in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada which offers courses in French and English and offers programs in religious studies, philosophy, native studies and folklore (entirely in French). It is a federated school of Laurentian University.
The university was founded as the Collège du Sacré-Coeur in 1913 and was the first, and for a long time, the only college in Northern Ontario. The college changed its name in 1957 and became a founding member of the Laurentian federation in 1960.
