So, my name's Rebecca. Or Beck, if you want. Either is fine. I'm Australian. I like Canadians. Outside of this most interesting project, I'm currently studying at university.

I've been a Wikipedian since July 2003, but have only been active since early 2004. I've been a sysop since July 2004, and a member of the arbitration committee since December 2004. I'm also a sysop at WikiSource, although I don't edit there as much as I do at Wikipedia. I'm rarely on Simple, though I have an account there. In total, I've made over 3250 edits, as of November 2004.

I don't have as much time for Wikipedia as I used to, as a result of university and the real world stepping in. As a result, a lot of what little spare time I do have for Wikipedia is spent on arbitration and meta matters these days. I'm making an effort, however, to finish the lists of Members of the Australian House of Representatives for every parliament back to federation, before doing this with state parliaments and the Senate. I still love writing articles, and write the occasional one when I get the chance, but that's much rarer than I'd like these days.

I, , do hereby bestow a long-overdue Barnstar on you for having the intestinal fortitude to block the anonymous and contentious B-Movie Bandit for the good of all Wikipedia users. Your assistance in this matter deeply and sincerely appreciated not just by me but by many other users. Thank you, Ambi!
