To use:
- Hold down Ctrl and tap the tone number (1, 2, 3, or 4) of the letter you want to write. Then release both keys and enter the letter (a, e, i, o, u, v, A, E, I, O, U, or V). Use v to signify an umlauted u (ü). This works for both lowercase and capital letters.
- For example:
- To type ā, press Ctrl+1, followed by a.
- To type É, press Ctrl+2, followed by E.
- To type ǚ, press Ctrl+3, followed by v.
- To type ò, press Ctrl+4, followed by o.
- All possible letters:
- āēīōūǖ
- áéíóúǘ
- ǎěǐǒǔǚ
- àèìòùǜ
- ĀĒĪŌŪǕ
- ÁÉÍÓÚǗ
- ǍĚǏǑǓǙ
- ÀÈÌÒÙǛ
