Vikos-Aoos National Park
The Vikos-Aoos National Park (Greek: Ethniko Drymo Vikos-Aoos) is a national park in northeastern Epirus, Greece that encompasses the Vikos gorge, the Aoos gorge, mount Timfi (with its highest peak Gamila , 2497 m) and several Zagoria villages. The park includes mamiferous animals including bears, foxes and deers. Birds are also included in this park. The forests are composes of diversed species. The trout are also founded in its rivers. It is located N of Ioannina , SSW of Kastoria and WSW of Kozani .
