Visnjan
Višnjan is a village located 13 km east of Poreč, in Istria, Croatia, population 625 (2001), centre of a municipality of 2,187 (2001).
Višnjan is internationally known for its astronomic observatory headed by Korado Korlević.
The name probably comes from the word višnja which means sour cherry in Croatian.
