WNEW-FM is a New York City FM radio station operating at 102.7 MHz and owned and operated by Infinity Broadcasting.

WNEW-FM was famous for its freeform rock format in the late 1960s through 1980s, and for many years used the slogan "Where rock lives." It was among the first stations to give Bruce Springsteen significant airplay. Well-known disk jockeys who worked at the station included Scott Muni, Alison (Nightbird) Steele, Bill (Rosko) Mercer, Dave Herman, Pete Fornatelle, Vin Scelsa, Jonathan Schwartz, and Richard Neer.

In the 1990s the station tried an extreme talk radio format with "shock jocks" such as Opie and Anthony, but after the duo were fired for a stunt, the talk format failed to keep listeners and they have returned to pop music as of 2003.
