Warrior was a British comic book aimed at mature readers, that ran for 26 issues between March 1982 and January 1985. It was edited by Dez Skinn and published by his company Quality Communications . It was one of the comic books in the British market to rely upon distribution through specialist shops and subscriptions for its sales base.

It is most famous for the series created by the renowned writer Alan Moore, Marvelman and V for Vendetta.

A final "Spring Special" issue was distributed with Comics International in 1996.

Dez Skinn had worked as an editor for the British off-shoot of Marvel Comics and borrowed from Marvel the concept of a shared universe for a number of the strips.

Alan Moore's work for Warrior secured him regular series work for 2000 AD and DC Comics. As these paid better and also Moore had disputes with Skinn over character rights his contributions to later issues became infrequent. A feature of later issues was a focus on one-off stories spun-off from the Moore strips or reprints of material. As a result quality declined and sales suffered.

The main impact of Warrior was on 2000 AD and its publisher IPC who moved to feature more mature material and launch titles for the specialist market.
