Indian burn
An Indian burn is the act of one person grasping another by the forearm, with both hands positioned next to one another, and proceeding to twist the skin of the forearm in opposite directions. It can be painful, and is usually performed by rambunctious children at play. The name Indian burn alludes to the notion that Native Americans are 'red men,' and comes from the fact that the procedure renders the victim's skin red.
Noogie
Also known as 'Dutch rub' (even though it isn't Dutch).
A noogie is the act of rubbing one's knuckles on another person's head. It can be very painful if much pressure is applied, but is often also a playful gesture of affection when done lightly. The origin of the word is unknown, but it may have been derived from the Yiddish word nudyen, a verb meaning to pester. Alternatively it could have been derived from the English word nudge, which means to push or poke gently.
"Noogie" can also refer to the act of punching a person in the upper arm with the knuckle of the middle finger set slightly before those of the other fingers. Those who consider "noogie" to mean this generally call the action described above a "dutch rub".
Some consider "noogie" to mean the act of sexual intercourse, as an alternate version of "nookie".
Swirly
Also known as being 'Bogwashed'.
The act of children putting other children's heads on a toilet and flushing it
Wedgie
A wedgie, also called a Melvin, is the slang term for when underwear bunches up and becomes wedged betwixt the buttocks, or for a prank involving pulling up a victim's undershorts to artificially induce this condition, causing anal pain.
Supposedly, an Atomic Wedgie is the prank form in which the waist band of the underwear is pulled above the head, but this is impossible, and the term is used merely as a joke, or to describe a "really bad" wedgie. Used, among others, in the Dilbert comic.
Basic Slang Terms for Forms of Wedgie
Regular Wedgie
Also known as a Melvin, or a Snuggie
As described above, a regular wedgie is the condition of having ones underwear wedged thoroughly between one’s buttocks.
Frontal Wedgie
The frontal wedgie is the condition of having the 'giver' of the wedgie approach the victim from the front. They would then reach forward and grab the material at the front of the victim's underwear and pull up, either squashing the testicles or wedging the material into the vagina.
Lesser Known Forms of Wedgie
Atomic Wedgie
An atomic wedgie – as explained above – is perhaps almost mythical. The victim will experience their underwear being pulled up over their head, and secured on their forehead.
Hanging Wedgie
A hanging wedgie is performed by executing some form of basic type of wedgie, and then lifting the victim off the ground, and hanging either the tip of the underwear onto some form of elevated hook device, or jamming a elevated stationary pole of some sort through the underwear leg holes. For this particular wedgie to be authentic, the victim’s legs must not be able to reach the ground.
Thwedgie
A 'thwedgie' is supposedly a regular form of wedgie, apart from the victim must be wearing thong underwear.
Propeller Wedgie
A propeller wedgie is induced by giving the victim a regular wedgie, then jamming some form of pole between the legholes, then somehow twisting the form around, tightening the material and wedging the material in the victim's buttocks and / or vagina.
Wet Willy
A finger is placed into the mouth to create a very wet finger, and then inserted into one of the ears of the person caught off guard.
Nipple Cripple
Also known as a Titty Twister, or a purple nurple is the act of grabbing a person's nipple between the thumb and forefinger and then twisting it around roughly.
Flat Tire
The act of stamping on a person's heel while walking behind him.
Snowing In
The act of shoving snow up a shirts by the opposite gender.
