Wells-next-the-Sea
Wells-next-the-Sea sits on the North Norfolk coast, England. Lying a mile from the North Sea, much of the land around Wells was reclaimed from the sea. The town has long thrived as a seaport and is now also a seaside resort with a popular beach that can be reached by a narrow gauge railway that runs alongside the mile-long sea defence. A famous local delicacy is samphire, a spinach-type plant.
