Will Mastin

Will Mastin, also credited as Will Maston (1903 - 1975), was the leader of the Will Mastin Trio, a trio of dancers and singers which included Sammy Davis, Sr. and his son Sammy Davis, Jr..

Will Mastin led the vaudeville dance troupe Sammy Davis, Sr. worked for. As a child Sammy Davis, Jr. often accompanied his father on tour and treated Mastin as his uncle. Soon the child joined the act and they became the Will Mastin Trio.

Will Mastin died in 1975. The epitaph on his tomb, next to Sammy Davis, Sr. and Sammy Davis, Jr., is just He was a vaudevillian.
