William Alston
William P. Alston is a Syracuse University philosophy professor, and has been influential as a Christian epistemologist of the twentieth century. His views on Foundationalism and Internalism vs. Externalism, among many other topics, have been very influential. Alston has also done important work in philosophy of religion, history of philosophy, and other fields.
Together with other philosophers (Alvin Plantinga, Nicholas Wolterstorff, Richard Mouw) Alston was involved in setting up the magazine Faith and philosophy and the Society of Christian Philosophers.
