William B. Davis
William Bruce Davis (Born: January 13, 1938 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actor.
He is best known for his role as the fictional character Cigarette Smoking Man on The X-Files. He is also a former drama professor at Bishop's University. He also opened the William Davis Centre for Actors Study acting school in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is also a former national champion water skier. Despite being known for his smoking character, he himself quit smoking in the 1970s and actually smoked herbal cigarettes as CSM.
