William Clark, Baron Clark of Kempston

William Gibson Haig Clark, Baron Clark of Kempston (October 18, 1917 - October 6, 2004) was a British Conservative politician.

Clark sat in Parliament for Nottingham South from 1959 to 1966, and for Croydon, South from 1970 until he retired in 1992. He was a backbencher for all but two of his years in Parliament, and identified with the right wing of the party. He voted against British membership of the Common Market in 1971 and chaired the Conservative backbench Finance Committee from 1979. After his retirement he received a life peerage and was an active contributor to House of Lords debates.
