William Fletcher Barrett

Sir William Fletcher Barrett (1844–1925) was an English physicist.

He discovered Stalloy , a silicon-iron alloy used in electrical engineering. He also did research work on the divining rod, and helped found the Society of Psychical Research . Barrett was Professor of Physics at Dublin University.
