Win, Lose and Kaboom

Win, Lose, And Kaboom is a Nickelodeon TV movie based on the popular TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. It parodies reality TV in general, especially Survivor, as can be seen in the plot description below.

In this movie, Jimmy and the gang find a strangely marked rock from outer space (again, after "A Beautiful Mine") that has landed in their home city of Retroville. When Jimmy figures out the answer to the riddle inscribed on the rock, Jimmy and the gang, including his new friend Cindy Vortex, are sucked into space, where they are forced to compete in a new alien reality show, hosted by some alien voiced by Tim Allen. In the show, different alien species are forced to compete in different impossible tasks, and the losers are forced to watch their planet get destroyed. Jimmy lets his ego (and, in some part, guest star Alyssa Milano) get in the way of performing the tasks, and the humans lose the first two tasks. After that, Cindy convinces him that it would be better for everyone if they were to work as a team. Jimmy reluctantly agrees and in the end, cooperation between all the competing species ensures that nobody's home planet gets destroyed. The movie was first aired in July 2004 as part of the Nicktoon Summer Film Festival.
