Wooster Square is a neighborhood in the city of New Haven, Connecticut. Specifically, it refers to a park square located between Greene, Wooster, Chapel and Academy Streets. The Wooster Square neighborhood is considered to consist of the area around this park extending between downtown and East Street, north to State Street and south to the Oak Street Connector/Route 34 spur; it is bordered on the west by downtown New Haven, on the south by Long Wharf, on the east by Fair Haven, and on the north by East Rock.

The neighborhood includes the Wooster Square National Historic District, as well as many modern houses and a business district along Wooster Street. Wooster Square is known as a bastion of Italian-American culture and cuisine, and is home to some of New Haven's, and the world's, best-known pizza eateries.

This park is also known to have a famed tree located on the west side of the park which according to some resembles a outline of Jesus Christ.
