XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero

XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero is one of gundams type mobile suit in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing.

The Wing Gundam Zero was the first mobile suit developed by the five scientists who would later create the five Gundams for Operation Meteor but it would take 15 years before it was built. The five Gundams are all based on the Wing Zero but only the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam has the most similarities with the original suit. After the scientists seperated each of them took one plan from the Wing Zero with them.

In AC 195 Gundam Sandrock pilot Quatre Raberba Winner, who was driven nearly insane because of the past events, finally built the Wing Zero and wanted to use it to destroy his enemies in space. He easily destroyed all mobile suits which attacked him and even destroyed a whole space colony with only one shoot from his buster rifle. Later the Wing Zero was passed on until it fell into the hands of Zechs Merquise and finally Heero Yuy who used it until it was destroyed in Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

Besides the obvious visual differences between the "TV version" and "movie version" of the Wing Zero, there were a few relevant technical differences; the movie version could not transform into "Neo Bird Mode" since the wings were different and it lacked a shield. The beam sabers were mounted differently in the movie version, also. The armament, however, was mostly unchanged from TV to film, though the film version had fewer of the relatively inconsequential vulcan guns.
