Xiu Xiu
Xiu Xiu is an indie/experimental band originally from San Jose, California and now based in Seattle, Washington. Xiu Xiu is the project of singer/songwriter Jamie Stewart and currently also consists of Caralee McElroy . Past members include Cory McCulloch , Yvonne Chen , Lauren Andrews , and many other guests. The band's name is taken from the 1998 Chinese film, Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl. Prior to Xiu Xiu, Stewart played in the bands Ten in the Swear Jar and Ibopa .
