Yaacov Turner
Yaacov Turner (born 1935) is mayor of Beersheva since 1998. He born in Kafar Yona , and was enlist to Israel Defense Forces in 1953 (he be freed in 1985). In Yom Kippur War he was F-4 Phantom II airman, and in Six-Day War and War of Attrition he was commander of combat squadron. After his military service, he was enlist to Israeli police.
