Yamato Ishida

Yamato Ishida (石田 ヤマト Ishida Yamato) is a character in the anime and manga Digimon. In the English version, he has the nickname "Matt".

Matt is a secretive loner who has the Digimon Gabumon. His brother is Takeru "T.K." Takaishi whom he cares for much. In the English-language adaptation, the two were half-brothers instead of full brothers. Matt's parents are divorced and he and his father moved to Odaiba, where his father works at the Fuji TV Network, Inc. building. He is the bearer of the Crest of Friendship.
