Zoey Bartlet
Zoey Patricia Bartlet is a fictional character played by Elisabeth Moss on the television serial drama The West Wing. Zoey is the youngest of President Josiah Bartlet and Abbey Bartlet's three daughters.
Zoey and presidential aide Charlie Young became romantically involved in the first season of The West Wing, and their relationship has continued intermittently through into the series's sixth season. Their interracial relationship prompted a white supremacist organization to unsuccessfully target Young for assassination, although both President Bartlet and Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman were injured in the shooting.
Zoey attended Georgetown University and was briefly kidnapped by Qumari terrorists in a fourth season episode which precipitated President Bartlet's invoking the 25th Amendment, transferring presidential authority to the Speaker of the House as Acting President.
