Zvartnots Airport
Zvartnots Airport (the airport code is EVN) is located about 10 km west of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. The airport was completed in 1981, and is the home to Armenian Airlines, the national flag carrier.
In 1998 a new air cargo terminal was opened.
In 2001 the airport was leased to Aeropuertos Argentina , an Argentinan company, for 30 years.
In 2004 the construction of a new international terminal began.
Bus nr. 107 connects the airport with the crossroads of Sayat-Nova and Mashtots street in Yerevan.
All departing passangers must pay the airport tax of 10.000 AMD (approx. 20 USD) at the exchange booth before check-in.
Runway
Zvartnots Airport has one runway, Heading 09/27 which is 12,627 feet long.
