The purpose of this project was to present one of the many risks that is related to dangerous dieting. The girl with the regular eating pattern will have a better reaction time than the other four dieting girls.
The experiment consisted of first finding four girls on different types of diets. The subjects used were diets such as: diet pills, novelty diets, yo-yo dieting, and fasting. Each subject was asked to start and stop a stop watch as quickly as she could. The times were recorded. This experiment was done each day over the course of five days. After that the average times were recorded.
The results proved the hypothesis correct. The times seemed to vary from day to day, but overall the girl with the "normal" eating pattern had a better reaction time than the girls who were dieting.
