Soil Pollution happens when harmful substances like chemicals, waste, or pesticides get into the soil and can harm plants and animals. By studying soil pollution, we can find ways to prevent it and keep our environment healthy.

The purpose of this experiment was to determine how different deicers affect the survival of radishes. 

The information gained from this experiment could be used by farmers and gardeners to help select, when needed, the deicer least harmful to their plants.  

In this experiment, we'll be testing how different deicers affect the survival of radishes. We'll be using a control group and three experimental groups, and measuring the amount of living radishes two weeks after each deicer is applied.
