Ambidexterity
Ambidexterity is the ability to use both hands equally well for tasks like writing or throwing.
Think of it this way
A kitchen scale has two pans, one on each side. When you put equal weight in both pans, the scale sits level and balanced. Ambidexterity works the same way — both hands carry equal skill, like two pans holding the same load. Most people have one strong hand, like a scale tipped to one side.
Explaining ambidexterity by grade level
Most people write best with one hand. Some people can write just as well with both hands. Try writing your name with each hand. You will likely find one hand is much easier.
