Brix Meter
Brix Meter is a tool that measures how much sugar is in a liquid like fruit juice.
Think of it this way
A brix meter works like a glass of juice with tiny sugar particles packed inside it. More sugar means the liquid gets heavier and denser. A thin probe dips into the glass and sinks less when sugar levels are high. How far it sinks tells you exactly how much sugar is in the liquid.
Explaining brix meter by grade level
When you taste grape juice, some is sweet and some is not. A Brix meter tells you how much sugar is in the juice. You look through it like a small tube. A line on the scale shows the sugar level.
