Chaos Theory
Chaos Theory is the study of how tiny changes in a starting point can cause wildly different results.
Think of it this way
Pouring a drop of food dye into a glass of water shows chaos in action. One drop lands in the center and spreads out in one big cloud. The next drop lands just a tiny bit off center and fans out in a wild, new shape. A small change at the start leads to a very different result.
Explaining chaos theory by grade level
Try a math game with a friend. You both start with close numbers. You do the same steps each time. Your answers end up very far apart.
