Curie Point
Curie Point is the heat level where a magnet stops working and loses its pull.
Think of it this way
A small iron block sits near a magnet on a table, and the magnet pulls it close. Place the block on a hot tray until it heats past a key point. At that heat level, the magnet can no longer pull the block — it just sits there loose. Cool the block down, and the pull comes back.
Explaining curie point by grade level
Hold a magnet near a metal clip. The clip jumps to the magnet and sticks. Now think about what happens if you heat that magnet over a flame. At a certain heat, the magnet lets go. It can not pull the clip any more.
